"Personal Torture" by LUNA
November 22, 2024
Polish pop-goddess LUNA has released "Personal Torture" and I couldn't be prouder of this release!
I first saw LUNA live at Eurovision 2024 in Malmö, where she represented Poland with the electro-pop banger "The Tower". As I watched her performance and I thought to myself "geeez, she's one of the coolest artists I've seen. I'd bloody LOVE to work with her", I never believed that a few weeks after the competition that I would get that chance.
In June, LUNA came to Stockholm to work for 3 days. "Personal Torture" was born on the third day, together with Johannes Willinder and Pelle Nylén. We instantly had a special energy as a team and "Personal Torture" really feels like the perfect result of that.
Working with LUNA these past months have been amazing and truly joyful. "Personal Torture" is only the beginning of our work together, so stay tuned!

"Hardcore" might be a year old, but it feels like only yesterday when myself, Mattias Lindblom and Tania Doko were soaking up the sunshine in Stockholm, writing this one - on Tan's birthday no less!
Tania coming into my life was (and still is!) earth-shatteringly meaningful. It's not often you connect to another person this deeply later on in life. But she's the real deal.
The fact that my first ever meeting with her was actually at a rollerskating competition when I was about 12 years old and she was at the height of her 'Bachelor Girl' days is insane to me! I had won a personality competition (are you surprised?) and the prize was a trophy, some flowers and GETTING TO MEET THE LEAD SINGER OF
BACHELOR GIRL!!!
The fact that I not only get to call this woman my dear friend, but also my mentor is priceless. She has made my personal road to becoming a songwriter so much smoother and enjoyable - and I'm honoured I got to play a small role on her long-awaited EP.
